Westmount Redevelopment by Our Building

Go here to see a video of our online discussion, held on January 8, 2025, about urban planning and Westmount’s proposal to redevelop the area around our building, Westmount Southeast. Dinu Bumbaru of Héritage Montréal, and leading conservation architect Julia Gersovitz shared their expertise and responded to questions from attendees. Many of the 150 people in attendance entered comments in the Zoom chat and there was a strong show of support for our organization’s opposition to a 25-storey tower next to us and in favour of a reset of the planning process.
