Book Sales and Donations

The Library offers for sale a wide selection of bargain-priced new and used books, CDs, DVDs and magazines in our Bookshop on the ground floor (sous-sol) near our Tupper Street entrance.

Coordinated by Dan Buda and staffed by volunteers, the Bookshop is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12 noon to 3:00 pm (except for holidays).

There are also periodic large book sales that are advertised in advance and take place either on the main floor or outside on the lawn. Upcoming special sales are listed below.

We welcome book and DVD donations, which make their way into our Library collection or help us raise funds through our Bookshop.

We cannot accept encyclopedias, textbooks, out-of-date computer books or National Geographics because we have no market for them.

Before bringing materials to donate, please contact Head Librarian Roxann Fournier-Hoyt at rfhoyt@atwaterlibrary.ca or 514-935-7344.

Please use our Tupper Street wheelchair entrance (ring the buzzer on the right side) to deliver book donations; that’s easier for our donors and our staff.
