SHERI-D WILSON has published seven collections of poetry, including Re:Zoom (Frontenac House, 2005), which won the 2006 Stephan G. Stephansson Award for Poetry and was shortlisted for the CanLit award, and most recently Autopsy of a Turvy World (Frontenac House, 2008). She has also created two spoken word CDs and four video poems. Her awards include the CBC Arts Top Ten Poets (2009), Global Television’s Woman of Vision Award (2006), the SpoCan Award (2005), the Bumbershoot Heavyweight Title for Poetry USA (2003), Gold at the Houston Film Festival (2003), Three ACE awards (2003), and the CBC Face-off (2002). She has been Artistic Director of the Calgary Spoken Word Festival since 2004 and has directed the Banff Centre Spoken Word Program since 2007.
