Randall Maggs’s Bio

RANDALL MAGGS’swork has appeared in a 1994 collection, Timely Departures (Breakwater Books) and in numerous reviews and anthologies, including Poetry Ireland Review, Coastlines, and Irish poet John Ennis’s How the Light Gets in. He co-edited However Blow the Winds, a collection of Irish and Newfoundland poetry and song and The Echoing Years, a collection of Irish and Canadian poetry. His most recent collection, Night Work: The Sawchuk Poems (Brick Books) was among the Globe and Mail’s Top 100 Books for 2008, and won the 2008 Winterset Award, the Newfoundland E.J. Pratt Poetry Prize, and the Kobzar Literary Award.
