Madhur Anand’s acclaimed debut collection of poems is A New Index for Predicting Catastrophes (McClelland & Stewart/Penguin Random House Canada, April 2015). It was a finalist for the Trillium Book Award for Poetry. She co-edited the anthology Regreen: New Canadian Ecological Poetry. Her own poetry has been anthologized in The Shape of Content: Creative Writing in Mathematics and Sciences (eds. Davis, Senechal & Zwicky). Her more recent work appears in The Rusty Toque and The Walrus. She is an ecology professor in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph.
