With funding from Ageing + Communication + Technologies (ACT) during the Fall of 2015 and Winter of 2016 we conducted workshops on Digital Music-Making for Seniors, building on our earlier project. Digital music created through the workshops was featured in our Nuit blanche event on Saturday, February 27, 2016!
On November 27, 2015, Digital Literacy Project Coordinator Eric Craven participated in a round-table discussion at Université de Montréal’s Intersectorial symposium “Ageing with music. Practices, functions and mediations.”
On October 23, 2015, Eric Fillion, PhD candidate in Concordia’s History Department, Director of Tenzier, author, and retired musician, gave a talk entitled “Listening to (and Participating in) Quebec’s Musical Avant-garde: Experimentalism and Free Jazz at the Turn of the 1970s.”
