Suzanne Buffam Bio

Suzanne Buffam is the author of two collections of poetry, Past Imperfect (House of Anansi), winner of the 2006 Gerald Lampert Award, and The Irrationalist (Anansi / Canarium Books), shortlisted for the 2011 Griffin Prize.  Her work has appeared in many journals in Canada and the U.S., and has been published in translation in French, German, Spanish, and Slovenian in conjunction with literary festivals and anthologies around the world.  Born in Montreal and raised in Vancouver, she now lives in Chicago, where she teaches Creative Writing at the University of Chicago.
