George Sipos’s Bio

GEORGE SIPOS has worked as a college teacher, bookseller, and symphony manager. He is now Executive Director of ArtSpring, the visual and performing arts centre of Salt Spring Island. His first collection of poems, Anything But the Moon, was published in 2005 by Goose Lane Editions and was shortlisted for the Dorothy Livesay Prize. 2010 saw the publication of two books—his second collection of poems, The Glassblowers, also published by Goose Lane, and a prose memoir called The Geography of Arrival published by Gaspereau Press.
